Mayor Loopstra: We don't want them

Peter City Mayor Loopstra, current mayor of Peter City, said today that the Borough of Nassau, is an "unwelcome guest" to the city. The reason? former county government was nearly bankrupt. This lack of money, and corruption that created a rift in the population of the city itself, has created a "Cold Riot". Mayor Loopstra also said that "If Nassau County, is to split from Peter City, as it plans on doing so, there will be consequences." What those consequences are, we do not know at this time. Joseph Burgess, town and county commissioner to the state; said that "Mayor Loopstra, has no authority over what the county will do. He cannot make descisions I will make." Also in opposition to this, is former mayor Jahaan Ashfaq, he states: " When I was mayor of this fine city, I welcomed them with open arms, and all the children that were in the failing Nassau County Schools, were welcomed into Peter City Schools."

Kelly Stearns, mayors aide to Mayor Loopstra, commented on Former Mayor Ashfaaq's comments; "I do not agree, or disagree with him, I'm strictly neutral.
